Every toddler has a favorite toy or plushie that they always carry along wherever they go, and Marshall's no exception. Of all the baby toys Marshall has in his nursery, which includes rattles, rubber balls, plastic key rings, building blocks, and other stuff, there's one toy that he carries around during playtime, baby time, and bedtime. And that's a big stuffed fox plushie named Rusty Raggs.
Given to Marshall from his Uncle Gottlieb one Christmas morning when he was five years old, Rusty Raggs has been Marshall's favorite plushie to this day. An exclusive plushie from the Create-A-Critter Workshop, Rusty Raggs is a huge fox plushie (similar to Max's Hoppson Hopper Hopps and Xerry's Bunsy plushies) that's about the size of a real toddler.
When Uncle Gottlieb purchased the plushie, he added some cowboy accessories, such as a cowboy hat, bandanna, and boots, which perfectly fits with Marshall's sheriff persona. And for the final touches, Gottlieb added a real medium baby sized disposable diaper for Rusty to wear, just like Marshall!
Now Marshall allows his friends to play with Rusty, provided only if they ask Marshall first. In fact, whenever Marshall and Amber would play house, he would always insist that Rusty be their baby. Marshall is very responsible for looking after Rusty. For example, he never plays roughly with him, never gets him really dirty, and if Rusty needs cleaning, he asks Laura to give him a bath in the washing machine.
Marshall is also very protective to Rusty too. Just TRY to yank Rusty away from Marshall and it'll be the worst mistake in your entire life! And that includes the ever hating plushie destroying Jax, who made a really bad decision in trying to steal Rusty away from Marshall. Marshall got so mad that he tore into Jax with scratches, bites, a black eye, a bloody nose, and even a diaper wedgie! It was a harsh lesson that Jax would never forget in his entire life. (And to add insult to injury, Max recorded the whole incident on his phone too!)
And every time that Marshall gets ready for bedtime, Laura would always tuck Marshall along with Rusty with a thick warm blanket and gives him a kiss good night. Once the light in his nursery goes out, Marshall would never have to worry about nightmares knowing that Rusty is by his side. And as Marshall falls asleep, he knows that tomorrow would be another day for fun and play with his favorite plushie, Rusty Raggs.

Gosh I never thought I'd see the day Marshall would have a big fight with Jax. You damaged not only his arm and leg, but his pride most of all. Max would have done the same if Jax tore the head off Hoppson. It's comforting to have Rusty Raggs to forget all your troubles and sleep easy.
Well, Jax should've known better not to take my beloved Rusty away from me! After the many countless plushies he's destroyed in the past, he's not gonna tear Rusty to pieces.
You better be careful too, Xerry. Jax might go after Bunsy next. Protect Bunsy at all costs!
