I need to start on some long overdue commission work.
When I sit down at the computer to draw, I get very scared. I'm scared of drawing! It is an overwhelming thing, creation. This is an ongoing problem for me. I'm trying to find ways to help myself get over this.
So, this is my attempt at an exercise. Very quick sketches, just off the top of the head random gestures, trying to keep things clean and simple. As little extra scribbles as possible, as little erasing as possible.
This was 15 minutes of that.
... I'm still frightened of doing what I need to do... but I think this helped prop up my confidence a bit

I have pretty much the same problem, though I do have a question - do you find it easier to draw with traditional materials? Because I'm much more comfortable drawing on a giant pad of newsprint versus on my tablet, which is frustrating, since newsprint costs money to replace. ;_;
