(CW Pet Death) Today I lost a dear friend, one who was part of my life for nearly eight years. She would have met her 16th birthday had she been able to survive just a few weeks more without needless pain. Last I saw her in person was over the Labor Day weekend, and last I saw her ever was this morning.
