Title: Tiger Running

prior to this image, it’s been awhile since I last did any art, and drawing. I have not been treating myself well or been kind to myself in the recent past and just recently am trying to reconnect with myself. Just trying my best to figure out how to be an adult, but making a mess out of it. I though the responsible thing to do would be to put art in the backseat.

However, what I actually did was cut out the best part of me, and what filled the vacuum in it’s stead was some rather poor life choices and indulgences. However, I needed to get those out of my system before getting back to doing art.

Right now, I am using a new iPad Air (256 GB w00t!) with a really awesome drawing app “Procreate”. I am really glad to make these purchases, because my old iPad was all the way back in 2010 and would not have the memory or be compatible with this new drawing app, and my old laptop decided to die on me.

Did this drawing on my bed, and practically finger painted it all on the screen, no pencils, or messy paints, or eraser marks (just a quick undo button to undo the errors). Digital drawing is becoming ridiculously convenient, digital drawing sometimes can feel soulless. Andmaybe it’s a crutch that is becoming a problem.

However, it’s a crutch I am glad to use until I can get my life more settled to do art however I like. So far I like this app, adobe flash was my preferred go to software because I love the UI and the effects, it Adobe is too money hungry, and even though Krita is free, I have never been happy with the user face, or the end product I was getting.
