That sort of gave me an idea to use coloured bacteria to colour art.
Of course you'd have to trace each area that was being coloured with some sort of antibiotic/toxic substance so that they don't grow outside the lines. And you'd have to feed your artwork so that it wouldn't lose colour. Maybe even have a thin layer of bacteria around the sides of the torso so it looks like its breathing. Of course it'd have to be stored in sealed glass, lest someone sneeze on it and ruin it.

But that would be so cool to have living art. Ah, the things I'd do if I was disgustingly rich.

by thin layer I meant that the bacteria there would constantly be spreading and dieing hence giving that in/out effect.

I hate it when I fail to include things that I meant to say >.<
