What makes a piece of music powerful? The instruments? The composition? Or maybe an event? This piece will play one time in my story, and it takes place under a beautiful sunset. Imagine seeing the one you care for most falling gracefully downward, the sun sinking behind them, and you running toward them. That is what happens to the main character in my story. That is the meaning of this song, to capture the grief, the hopelessness of losing someone close.
