Wanna work out? I have a guilty pleasure for fitness games. When Nintendo’s Blue Ocean movement caused games to be made from things that weren’t games before, it was the gamification of fitness that actually made working out really fun for me. So when I saw that Ring Fit Adventures was coming up with some new ways to move around and play, I got really excited.

So, it was pretty daunting just working with a notebook and hotel room pens and no pencils. I get that I could get prepared–or at least buy a pencil to do some under-line work before using the all-too-permanent pen, but once I started putting lines on the paper it worked out.

Admittedly I feel like I have more control over things when I’m using real paper and a real pen, but the permanence makes me anxious a bit. I’m also noting in this example that I intended one perspective-point of view, but kinda deviated away from it after I tried draw everything else. Frustrating, but something to work on in the future. There are other things, as well, but if I went through everything I don’t like about this I’d go on pages.
