The Deity of Spiral Dragons (C)
Hehe this was pretty fun to write. I love getting to write buddyfight stories and I love getting to be the one to write these ideas into existence. This is a direct sequel to the earlier story Ceremony of the link dragon order This time however, this time Agito has his eyes set on our favorite Gargantua Dragon.
The commissioner who requested this story is the always awesome
AiraFox And Agito loves the fluffy fox now that he's an edgy fox dragon =P

The Deity of Spiral Dragons
A week passed since Agito and his band of comrades encountered Aira and turned him into a felllow member of the Link Dragon Order. Shaping Fox Aira was his name, and as of yet, there hadn't been any real use out of the new guy. They didn't use him in any of their buddyfights, and the dragon fox chewed on the leaf hanging from his mouth in eager anticipation.
Aira, used to be a shapeshifting fox that was the guardian of the forest, but since he'd met Agito and the rest of the Spiral Link Dragons, he wasn't at all upset by the change in his life. Heck he was a bit taller. his features were more defined now that his fur was a bit more on edge, as if they were dragon scales but they maintained their natural softness. His boss...who right now was in his chibified state was sitting on his shoulder, chomping away at a gooey cheesy pizza in Miko Mikono's Pizza Cafe. And lately that's all that they have been doing. Sitting in the shop, and eating pizza after a hard day's work training out by the river side.
Sitting opposite of them in their private booth was a diminutive dragon that held a lot of Agito's respect. His name was Garga, with most of his body covered in sky blue scales, save for his white belly and a green gem that was displayed in the middle of it. His hair took up the entirety of his back and the sharp spiked appearance of his long flowing hair that made Aira think that Garga might have been half Cactus. He also wore what Aira could only think was a battle crown...Two sharp green bluish horns that curved back about a 30 degree angle before making a sharp turn and pointing upward. They were met in the middle of the dragon's forehead by a single yellow diamond shaped headpiece with a green jewel set in the middle.
Garga's green eyes, met with the two dragons' sitting on the other side of the table, quickly grabbing a slice from the freshly cooked pizza and taking a large bite out of it. Cheese was dripping from his chin but he quickly slurped it up, not even bothering to talk until he finished swallowing the morsel in his mouth. "So why did you bring me out here for? I don't think you came all this way just to eat Pizza."
Aira was wondering about that too. He reached out for a slice of his own, but before he would even take a bite, he looked to his boss. Like Garga, Aira wanted an answer to this sudden meeting between the two dragons.
"O-OH I didn't ask you yet. Maybe I should have waited to order this pizza." Agito dropped the crust on his plate while one hand was playfully wrapped around one of Aira's large ears. "We've been doing a lot of training out by the river so we can help Masato win the Buddyfight tournament! He's been working so hard, and it would be a shame if he lost in the first rounds."
"That would be embarassinig..." Aira understood, taking his first bite, somehow managing to avoid getting any cheese on his leaf as he ate. "I don't think I want to lose in the first round either...It'll be my debut!"
Looking over the Fox Dragon's appearance, Garga took notice of the chain that was wrapped around Aira's belly, which while it wasn't so large that it would be a hinderance, it did have a bit of pudge around it to give it a nice rounded look. [hmmm...must be a new member...] Shaking his head, Garga looked to Agito after he finished his own slice and smiled. "So you wanted help training with the Deity of Combat? Sure I can help you out. But there's something I'd like in return."
"What's that?" Agito asked the blue scaled dragon, and smacked Aira's hand playfully as the fox dragon was taking the last slice. "Hey I was saving that!"
"Sorry sir. I'm just very hungry today! I did a lot of excercizes whle Masato was busy." Aira defended, now having a tug of war with his boss over the last slice. The two of them staring daggers at one another. If one looked close enough, you could probably even see a spark between the pair's eyes as if to indicate the tension in the room and their unwillingness to surrender the slice.
Garga stared at the two with a dumbfounded expression as the duo fought over the last slice. This was especially unfounded given Agito was clearly the leader in their troupe. After a few moments of silence from the sword wielding dragon, he swiped the last morsel from the pair and took a bite. "mmmm..." The dragon savored the flavor while both Aira and Agito stared at him as if he'd just slapped them both in the face. After swallowing, he waved the slice in front of them. "If I win, you have to buy me Pizza for a whole year. That's my price."
Both Aira and Agito stared at Garga with a pouty face. Their pizza had been snatched right out from under their snouts. Agito hopped back onto his Fox Dragon's shoulder and gave a defeated sigh. "Fine. I'll feed you as much pizza as you want for the next year. But if that's your price, why don't we up the stakes then."
With a loud gulp, Garga finished off the last slice that he'd taken from the two link dragon's and stared at the thunder dragon. "What...did you have in mind?"
"Well if WE win, you have to join the Link Dragon Order." Agito proclaimed, standing tall on Aira's shoulder.
The Fox Dragon stared in disbelief at the stipulation, but then got to thinking. "Well...that's how you got me..." That wasn't entirely true...He didn't know it, but Agito rewrote some of Aira's memories so that he wouldn't remember the cause for his sudden transformation...It wasn't so much to cover the diminutive king's crime, so much as it was to keep everyone happy and compassionate to one another.
"Hmmm...you want me to join you." Garga looked at his glass of water, his reflection heavily distorted due to the glass's shape. A bit of a goofy smile formed on it's surface thanks to that distortion as he replied. "Alright, I accept. If I lose, then I, Gargantua Dragon, will become a member of the Spiral Link Dragon Order."
Agito didn't expect that response. But hey if he got a new comrade out of this then he was more than willing to run the risk of using up his share of Masato's allowance on Garga if the outcome was his defeat. They'd both be sacrificing something important after all. Agito wouldn't be able to afford tasty Pizza for him and his link dragon cohorts as a reward for their hard work. He shook the thought out of his head and started floating in the air with some of Aira's local magic. "Ok follow us then!"
It was more like follow Aira though, since he was the one really doing all the walking. Agito was simply floating along and mooching off the Fox's increased power as a Link Dragon. Aira didn't mind though, he was flattered more than anything that his boss put so much faith in him to be so comfortable with him when they were all alone. It made him want to do more for his king...
After a short walk through town, they made it to a secluded hillside where the riverbed flowed naturally through the city. This was the same place that Aira was recruited as a Link Dragon. A few memories flooded into the Fox's head, most notably, the first time he sang their anthem. His thoughts were cut short however, when Agito down onto the grassy surface of the ground. The wind was blowing just enough that the grass looked like a sea of green flowing naturally down hill. "Boss?"
Agito nodded a few times, waving a paw. "Yeah I know. Let's show Garga what we're made of! For Share!"
The Fox Dragon didn't need to be told twice. His body started forming a bright bluish aura. He took one deep breath, took a look around him before jetting into the air. As he flew, his body become less and less defined within the light, until he couldn't even be seen. Agito had stretched his arms out as the glowing light began nose diving in his direction and with his maw wide open...the flash of light flew right on in. Agito's body would begin to pulse with that same blue light before it engulfed him in an explosion of warmth. the light expanded, the intensitiy of it, leaving Garga closing his eyes so that he didn't blind himself from the marvelous light that had enveloped Agito.
"One soul?!" That was the only thing that came out of Garga's lips. From the glowing blue sphere, he could see two large red wings protruding from the safety of the light, they were sharp and armor plated with yellow spikes that edorated their tips. As the light slowly began to shrink in size, horns could be seen coming from the head of his foe...two bassive horns, shaped roughly in the shape of a thunderbolt. His neck, and belly were a silvery, grey tone that glinted somewhat in the sunlight, with thin yellow v like patterns lining up horozontally a few feet apart from one another. Large chains wrapped around the emerging beasts's neck and belly. His powerful fore and hindpaws having a fair bit of muscle that twitched and rippled beneath purple plated scales. and thunderbolt patterns crossing across the wrist and ankle portions of his paws. The actual paws themselves were red armor plated scales with greenish yellow claws protruding from the tips. Electricity crackled in the air as the light finally dispersed.
"Raaaaaaah!" Agito let out a mighty roar, electricity sparking from his body as he did so, and the ground trembled below him. "Aira serves as three souls for me. With him alone I can become the King of the Spiral Link Dragons." Agito growled out, staring down at Garga's chibi form. "Now...show us why YOU are the Deity of Combat...!"
"If thats what you want." Garga didn't expect Agito to transform right away into his strongest form. That's what he got for assuming that Aira wouldn't offer too big an advantage though. Garga took a breath as a flash of light enveloped him. His body started growing into a more masculine anthropomorphic shape. The blue scales around his body were replaced by highly decorative blue shimmering armor with gold trim. The gem that was on his chest was not merely one now, but three. One in the center of his chest, and two slightly smaller green gems decorated on his shoulders. of whuch the shoulder guards curved upwards to give him more room to swing around. Acting as his wings were twenty golden blades with a black inner blade with white lines running down in a diamond shaped pattern among a few whlie others had just a dull grey inner blade. Ten were hovering over each shoulder, serving as wings for the macro sized dragon. His armor plated tail cracked like a whip in the air, with it's tip splashing into the water somewhat clumsily. He clenched a fist and roared his challenge to King Agito. "All enemies are powerless before my blade! Prepare for the Deity of Combat!"
Garga's blue eyes, met with Agito's red. Both dragon's stood each other down and given their impressive sizes, it was a good thing they chose this specific area for their fight. Nobody would be hurt."Well then let's get everything started...!"
Agito roared as sparks of electricity came out of his wings, and not a moment later, both of his armored wings slashed into the Gargantua Dragon's direction, who grippped two of his hanging Swords to parry the sharp and sturdy wings. He stepped back a few inches from the assault beore shifting the grip on his sword's to make a stabbing motion at the thunder dragon's chest but was parried by those fierce, electrified horns of his foe.
"Hmph..." Agito's body started glowing as electricity surged from within those horns and homed in on Garga's own horns, stunning the dragon and lighting him up like a Christmas tree. He staggared back with a jolt and shook his head. "gah hah hah, you should know better than to make physical contact with me Garga. Deity or not, I'll still make it an electrifying experience."
Garga belched out a small puff of smoke from his jaws. Agito may goof off with his servants...but he had all the power necessary to protect them from harm. The Anthro dragon's eyes narrowed as several scenario's poured into his head. Finally he shut his eyes as a moment of clarity came to him. "You're right...Like Yuga would say, I need to step up my game."
Garga's eyes shot open and another bright light enveloped him. "G.evolve!!" His blue armor started shifting and turning a shimmering silver color, as the blades around his back shrank down and started clasping together along his chest, acting as a sort of new breastplate whlie two larger blades clipped onto either leg to serve as guards to his side, and the remaining two clasped onto his back like a pair of standalone wings. Lastly his thinnest blade seemed to form a green pole in which Garga gripped it with his right hand and twirled it around as if it were a pike. "Gargantua Dragon! Cyclone Mode!"
The thunder dragon expected Garga to use G.evo in the middle of the fight. As a Deity, Garga had a vast array of forms that he could choose from. Some of them even allowed the dragon to play within other clans that should otherwise be inaccessable to him. "A whirlwind of attacks worthy of a deity huh?"
"H-Hey I was going to say that." Garga grumbled out. He hated whenever someone stole his line, but right now that wasn't what mattered. He focused his attention on Agito, and suddenly the two blades that had clasped onto his back, suddenly started shifting position...moving along his back, they curved and narrowed until both blades were pointed towards Agito. This made for a tricky position for the thunder dragon, since those swords would keep him from getting too close to the Deity, and they also served as protection from being attacked from the sides. "Feel the power of a deity and his gale that will bring you to your knees!"
Both blades started shimmering, until a heavy wind surged from it's center. The mane that Garga sported would shake wildly in the twisting winds but it was apparent that HE was the source of those gales as they came at Agito with great force. Even at the King's size, he could be blown by the force of those winds, and barely had enough time to dodge when Garga charged at him with his pike. it just barely grazed the top of his head, where his horns were situated, and Agito now had to take a few steps back himself to avoid being ripped to shreds by the ever increasing whirlwind.
"I think we can both agree I've won, Agito. Let's stand down and get some more Pizza." Garga proclaimed, having believed himself to have won. His wind was a solid defense. It kept Agito from getting too close and his wind force would keep his lightning from having the dangerous accuracy he would have been able to take advantage of.
"Give up? You seriously think me growing to full size is Aira's only skill?" Agito asked, one eye open as he tried to shield himself from the gale. His wings would conceal his face for a moment, before shooting outward to dispell the great wings that were keeping him at bay. "Don't be so silly Garga. I have a lot more fight in me."
Garga's eyes narrowed, green eyes staring into Agito's own even as he gripped his handle tighter. "You're powerful. But you're not strong enough to defeat me and my many style's of combat. There's a reason I'm a Deity. there's no shame in giving up, let's-"
Agito growled, his eyes glowing for a second. "No Garga...you're underestimating me. You're underestimating my comrades...my subjects. I'll show you why the Link Dragon Order is more powerful than ever, and why Aira is my new secret weapon...You say G-evo is too strong for me to counter? Try this on for size...!"
Suddenly, the thunder dragon's body began to shimmer just like Garga's had when he undergone G-evo. Unlike him though, Agito's entire body was enveloped once again in a sphere of light, and what came out of it was...it was another Gargantua Dragon! Even more, this one was also in Cyclone mode. Garga stared in disbelief...as if he were looking at a magic mirror and thought it must have been some trick. Immediately, he released another blast of powerful wind in this imposter's direction, only for his attack to be cut short...it made contact with some strange barrier...no. Not a barrier...it was his own attack! Their blasts were canceling each other out.
"Heh heh..." Agito's voice came out of this copycat Gargantua dragon, and he gripped the pike in his hand with a playful grin. "Shaping Fox Aira grants me the power to transform into my opponent. It also let's me use their powers. Like this..."
Agito lifted his now white scaled hand into the air. "G-evo!!" Agito's anthropomorphic body started glowing once again...the white armor that he'd been sporting in his duplication started shifting into purple, the blades thinning out and growing as they slipped into what could only be considered large golden japanese shuriken, these now served as his new wings, while his mane grew a few feet longer and the emerald colored jewel shifted into a green sphere. The last things to change were the red lines of make up that lined his eyes, and his hands moved in together as if he were about to cast a spell. "Gargantua Wind Demon Dragon!" Agito's hands pulled away and he made a flashy show of stretching one hand outward while the other was set back, almost as if he were in a cheap Kabuki themed show.
"You can G-Evolve too?!" Garga asked with incredulousness. This was insanity, there was only ONE Gargantua Dragon and it was him. Yet here Agito was...playing in a copy of his body and even trying to outshine him. "Hmph! Your new tricks won't help you beat the REAL Gargantua Dragon!"
"HEh heh we'll see. Can you see through my ninja arts?" Agito lifted one hand up to his face, with only his index and middle finger pointed upward. Suddenly two more copies of himself appeared on either side."
Garga stepped back for a moment, even as the three duplicates of himself quickly surrounded him. His wind attack would only work one at a time...and he couldn't G-evolve in time to transform into something that could give him an advantage. Suddenly one of the clones sprang forward, and with a flex of it's arm, one of the shuriken's that was attached to his back would move out and attack Garga, who managed to shift his stance just in time for one of his blades to catch the attack.
The second clone leapt into the air, grabbing ahold of one of it's many swords and making a stabbing motion downward. The sword made impact! To the ground, as Garga managed to use his speed to leap out of the way just before the moment of impact. "He's using my G-evo like this isn't even his first time...wait a moment..."
Garga suddenly recalled inside of the cafe, that the new guy Aira mentioned that every day Agito had been hammering training drills into him. He'd even been so exhausted that he was willing to snatch the last slice from his master. "So that's how it is..." Garga panted a few times, steam coming from his jaws.
"Exactly."
Garga swallowed a lump in his throat and turned around just in time to see the Agito transformed copy of himself and both palms coming together and slamming into his stomach! Garga let out a dissatisfied groan before he fell onto his back and reverted to his chibi sized self. "That's why you and Masato haven't used him in a buddyfight yet...you were training your newest desciple."
Staring down at the fallen dragon, Agito's body started glowing once more as he shrunk back down into his chibified state. Aira re-formed too, standing right by his boss with a hand on his hip and a smug grin as he chewed on his leaf. "He wanted to get my transformation just right. And you were the best model we could use."
"I see..." Garga pulled himself off the ground and sat in front of the pair. "I'm honored that you thought that I was worthy enough to focus your training on. But there's still one more matter to resolve."
Agito stared at Garga, and began walking over to him, his footsteps making small pitter pattering sounds as he did. "you'll still get your pizza you know!"
The white and blue dragon stared up at Agito with a confused look on his expression, before a smile crept on his face as he understood. "Right. A promise is a promise. So how will you do it then?" Garga asked, standing up and dusting himself off.
"You know...I haven't put a whole lot of thought into that!" Agito suddenly realized...if he wasn't already red in the face, he'd be blushing. "Hmmm...how about this! Could you transform into your card form?"
Garga had an idea as to what Agito had in mind, and it unnerved him. To ask a fellow monster to return to card form, is to leave them the most defenseless. In card form, anyone could cause harm to the monster within and they'd be helpless to stop them. "Well you did win. And a deal's a deal. If you're going to be my king I need to have more faith." With a breath, Garga stared at Agito one last time before shrinking down into his card form, the thin slip of cardboard flying into the diminutive red dragon's claws.
After the battle had concluded, Aira stepped over to his boss who held the Gargantua Dragon card in his claws and tilted his head to the side, wondering what his Boss had in mind. "So what are you gonna do with it boss?"
To be honest, Agito didn't know right away himself. But anything was worth trying. After all he was able to turn Aira. If he could work on Garga's soul the same way then this should work! With a deep breath, Agito opened his maw nice and wide, and dropped Garga's card right inside. His companion's shocked expression when the Dragon King started chewing over Garga's helpless form made him cirnge. He wanted to scold his king but stopped himself. Agito wasn't a vengeful or evil dragon. Everything he did, was with heart...heck it's the whole reason he claimed Aira in the first place!
After a few more seconds of chewing, Agito swallowed down what he'd had in his mouth and burped. "Whew...alright now..." He dug in deep to search inside of himself. He hadn't killed Garga, that much he knew...and the act in swallowing the dragon, he knew that he'd irreversably integrated Garga into his own body. But that was the whole idea...he wanted to absorb Garga so that he could have access to the Dragon Deity's core...and amid his own sea of being, he could see it...a brillian green shimmering orb in the pit of his own soul. Agito from within his own spirit, transformed into his massive King Agito form and brought his wings down to shield the Gargantua dragon's core and mumbled under his breath. "relax my friend. I will not hurt you. You are an important friend to me. An Ally...and I will not see you dead. Become a part of our Link Dragon Order...Serve me. And together we can put an end to this war with the Lost."
There was a feeling of clarity that engulfed Garga's being. He couldn't move, but he could feel Agito's warmth all around him. It was comforting. There was no anger, nothing within the dragon's spirit that would cause him harm. It was nothing but kindness, and warmth. And it sought his loyalty in exchange. They made a deal. Garga steeled himself, and within the orb he answered to his new king. "The Link Dragon Order is lucky to have a leader like you...no not leader...King. I give myself to you friend. I just have one request..."
A ball of light formed in Agito's chibi hands as he roused himself from his temporary dream state. In his claws, he held a new card. It was definitly Gargantua Dragon. There were a pair of chains that wrapped around his chest in an X like fashion where his Diamond core was held. He also had a pair of link chains running along the leggings of his blue plated armor that were tied to his blades. "Deity of Spiral Dragons: Gargantua Dragon" Agito read out loud, and began scanning over the text to see what new abilities his friend had now that he was a Spiral Link Dragon. "Hmm...well Garga, if he wants it, then your request will be granted!"
"D-Did you just eat Garga?!"
Agito heard a voice, and with a start, he looked up to see Yuga looking down at him from the hilltop, panting like he'd been running all the way from school, down to the river. "Yuga..." Was all he could say at the moment.
"Did you eat Garga?!" Yuga ran down hill and grabbed Agito's shoulders, a look of shock and disbelief in his eyes. "Did you EAT Garga!? Spit him out Agito!"
Agito was about to speak after a few shakes, but was cut off as the new card in his hand began glowing again. "Please calm down Yuga." With a flash, Garga reappeared in his chibi form. He had a pair of chains wrapped around his belly in that same X shape fashion that his card suggested, but his eyes still remained the same. They addressed Yuga with both sadness and acceptance. "I'm not gone. He didn't kill me if that's what you thought Agito was doing."
"Garga..." Yuga stared at his buddy's new form and noted the chains that now decorated his body. "What did he do to you? You look like you've become a prisoner."
"Yuga.." Garga's voice was soft, and he started floating up so that he was at eye level with his buddy. "I'm not a prisoner to Agito. We made a promise to each other all in the sake of training. We came to a decision that something had to be done about Vanity Husk Destroyer, or Ranma would be gone forever." He closed his eyes for a moment as he spoke. "Right now as we are, we don't have the power that it takes to defeat him, and save this world. But you do Yuga. You have what it takes to make all the difference. So I want to ask you this as your frend." Garga opened his eyes and put a hand on Yuga's head, making the curved spike up to drop down to meet the rest of his face. "Will you become a Link Dragon too? You're already the Ace of Games. Become the Ace of Dragons! And let's never be apart."
Yuga didn't know what to say. This was a lot to take in. He had no idea that Garga felt this way. That he felt so helpless in his prior battles with Destroyer that he was constantly training so that they could have even the slightest hope to win. His eyes softened, and a smile lined Yuga's face as he grabbed Garga's hand. "Will I be able to go to Dragon World with you?"
"Yuga..." Garga stared into his partner's eyes, then smiled, giving a short nod. "If our boss allows us, after this whole mess is taken care of, we'll go to Dragon World together. I'll show you the proper way how to live like a dragon."
The idea of becoming a dragon had never even occured to Yuga. He'd be leaving all of his family behind. Could he really do that...? Then again if he didn't do this...there was a chance he wouldn't even HAVE a family to go home to. The choice was pretty clear, and the thought of having new adventures and seeing new worlds beyond Japan excited him. "Alright Garga. I'll do it. Honestly I wish you would tell me what you're feeling whenever you're feeling down. I could have talked with you about this and we could've trained together."
"We'll train together with the rest of our companions." Garga promised, a smile never leaving his face, even as he stepped away so that Yuga could approach his new king.
Agito smiled when Yuga approached him and tried his best not to scare the human away, knowing just what Garga wanted. "I promise it won't hurt. And we'll all go have a pizza on me once you've been transformed." With a shining light, Agito transformed into his stage 1 form, where he looked more like a wingless battle plated lizard with a sharp axe like tail instead of a dragon. He reached one clawed hand out and carefully guided Yuga over to his chest. "Just relax...none of this will hurt. Close your eyes..."
Yuga didn't know what to expect here. The armor plated scales should have felt cold to the touch but alll he could feel from Agito, was warmth. He could hear the dragon's heartbeat, so soothing, so comforting, and he closed his eyes as he was told to as he focused on the beat of the dragon's chest. Slowly, while Yuga's eyes as well as Agito's were closed, the human's body began to sink right into his chest. With the positioning of their bodies, Yuga's left half of his body had already sunken right into the gentle reptile that was taking him. It was comforting. As his body sank into the larger dragon's, the warmth continued to spread and thoughts of home were the furthest thing from his mind.
Yuga found himself swimming inside an odd sea of thoughts. The water warm to the touch, and gently guiding him through the waters of an endless current. He thought of the other link dragons, of Garga, and at the forefront of his mind of all things was Ranma. The sea, when his thoughts were focused on his best friend, started growing rough, as if he had just been pushed into a storm and now struggled to keep himself above the surface. The strength of the tide however, was too much for his young body to handle. "G-Garga...! Agito! Someone help!" He called out, before sinking beneath the waves.
Yuga stared up into the water's surface. He could see the moonlight above, and tried to reach it even as his lungs were filling with water. Just as he was about to pass out from his own doubts and sorrows, a bright light illuminated the sea around him. A great horn rose in front of him, followed by the large visage of King Agito staring in front of him. The rest of the great dragon's body formed as the wings began to wrap around and shelter the boy. "It's okay Yuga...It will be alright. Breath."
What was he talking about?! Breath? They were under water! And yet...Agito was speaking to him in that deep throated voice he had in his King Agito body, and that shouldnt' have been possible. Suddnely, Yugo exhaled, and found himself able to breath, but then... "Wait why couldn't I breath before? Aren't we under water?"
The great dragon shook his head, light illuminating from his body. "No Yuga. This is your inner turmoil. the thoughts that are flowing through you that are always running through your head. They can either carry you into bliss, or drag you into sorrow. This is what it's like when you are closest to your own spirit. Your heart, and your emotions become reality in here."
Yuga didn't really get it. So they were inside of his own heart? but wait... "But if this is inside of my heart. Why are-"
"Why am I here?" Agito asked with a rumbling laugh. He reached forward with a claw and started pulling Yuga closer to himself, much like a father would to a son. "You are inside of me. You are a part of me. When I sensed your sorrows it led me here. Alone your young emotions would smother you, but you don't need to deal with them by yourself. Place your faith in me Yuga. Accept me as your new king and I will share that burden. I, and the rest of the Spiral Link Dragon Order. Let us lighten your load, and in doing so make you stronger." His face softened into that of a cheerful smile. "Sharing is caring after all."
Yuga didn't resist Agito's advances. If they were truely within the thunder dragon's own heart, what would be the point. But the idea that Agito had come all this way to save the boy from destroying himself. It touched him and he understood why Garga wasn't so upset about having been changed. Agito was truely caring to his subordinates, and this warmth, he wanted more of it. And more than anything, he wanted to save his best friend. "I...I do Agito." Yuga grabbed hold of the dragon's luminous green claw in his smaller hands, and with a bright smile, added. "I want to be with Garga forever. And I want to save Ranma! Please help us do that Agito."
Agito's eyes narrowed, even as he brought Yuga closer to him, his jaws becoming ever closer. "And we will. I promise by my title of king, we will save your friend. We'll stop Destroyer together."
there was a moment of sweet relief, even as Agito's jaws parted, and the human was tossed into the dragon's jaws. There wasn't fear in Yuga's eyes. After everything he's experienced, the only thing he felt was trust inside of the dragon. Garga had been swallowed by the thunder dragon king, so now it was his turn. He'd place his life, and his dreams into Agito.
There was a firm swallow, and Yuga's bulge vanished down his throat, barely making much of a bulge but it was definitely there. "Welcome home Yuga..."
A brief flash of light enveloped Agito, and with that his eyes opened once again. He'd been reduced back to his chibi form and was holding yet another card in his hand. Within the border of the card, he could see a newly formed Anthropomorphic White thin scaled dragon that was similar in complexion to Gargantua Dragon except it did not have any of the armor or the weapons at it's disposal. And instead of that spiky white mane, Yuga's normal hairdo remained, in addition to one added detail. The dragon wasn't exactly born with a tail, instead his Ponytail...which was now wrapped in a thin silver chain extended down to his legs, serving as a tail of sorts at least in asthetics. The only weapon in hand was the Orders Axe: WildAxe, which was the Link Dragon's primary item card. "Spiral Link Ace of Dragons: Yuga..." Agito mumbled quietly to himself.
Garga and Aira stepped over to inspect the new card that their boss was holding and took a look at the card's text. Garga looked especially pleased and nodded to their leader. "His skill is exactly what we needed! I think we're ready to fight Ranma and his Buddy."
"Right!" Aira grinned, chewing on his leaf as he studied the art style. "He kind of looks like a mix between you and Thousand Rapier Dragon...Heck I bet if you shoved a Rapier into that belt of his I bet they'd look like brothers."
"Now now." Agito grinned at the both of them. "This isn't the time to tease our newest members." Agito summoned their new Ace of Dragons to their side and pointed to the setting sun. "I believe you're all familiar with our theme?"
Yuga and Garga both cringed and stared at one another when they realized that the last part of their initiation would be their toughest challenge yet. Agito quickly wrapped his stubby arms around their shoulders and grinned. "Comeon now..."
Aira stood beside them and wrapped one arm around the new Yuga's neck and after a countdown from 3, they all began to chant.
“We're the Linkdragon Order, we join forces because we care!
We fight for Masato in his name so we can hear him say “For Share!”
The Link Spiral chain of bonds leads us in our fight!
You better not mess with us or we'll mess you up right!”
This was followed up by laughter between the quad of friends, until Agito started floating along with Aira's powers. "Alright everyone, let's get back to the cafe before they run out of pizza! Then we'll go let Yuga's family know about his change and then show Masato his new trump cards!"
"Heh heh...great...mom's gonna freak out..." Yuga scratched his cheek as he thought of how his mother or even his brother might react, but decided not to go against Agito's orders. That felt like it would be the wrong thing to do, and honestly he was looking forward to meeting and getting to know his new family too. The four of them would continue singing as they left the riverside, returning back into town, as cheerful as could be.
