they used to be all over North-America I remember my uncle and his friends talking about them most times they where a community thing some times more than one farmer/Farm town would have 2 or three in a shed they were expensive to own and run... some places in Canada they where a community-owned piece of equipment..most people had there own combine and bailer but very few farm sites had a steamer.
