Frederick was a little cutie! I hope he grows out of his current issues. I’m sure it’s going to get him in trouble eventually; Itchy is Tomato’s male role model and it’s just a matter of time before he won’t stand for it anymore, I’m sure. XD Or Cinnamon is gonna get just big enough to wallop him what good. XD

I'm not saying this is canon yet or anything but I've considered this: Frederick grows into a teenage behemoth and becomes a legitimate danger to the villagers, so Evan offers to send him to "boot camp" and agrees to make him a mercenary if he passes. Tomato gets sent with him because he's being a little shit too. They train under Elska for a while and go on an adventure with her, and by the end of it, they both learn how to shape up. Frederick becomes a Freelance Good Guy while Tomato realizes adventuring is actually scary as hell, and instead decides to follow in Itchy's footsteps as a merchant.
