I know this is off topic but what is a matza ball?

I had Jewish friends that were not Jewish because temple goers said they were not Jewish, but in turn, Hasidic say temple goers are not Jewish either.

Anyway, they did not know what a matza ball was either, they were Jewish because their mother was Jewish when they were born, and they are a karate family raised by their dad after the got rid of my actual cousin through marriage. My Grandmother married a guy in 1946 after our original grandparent was tossed out of his family for marrying my grandmother as she was below his station, so he was a lifelong Chauffeur for the Duponts in North Carolina, yeah THOSE Duponts!

My Grandfather was not related to me, and all of my cousins were the relations I have. the only other cousins are all girls from my mother's side of the family and all of them have become liberal democrats and or criminals and hockey enthusiasts.

God what a foccking (to use my ability to do a perfect Boston accent) boring sport to watch, nothing happens except fights all out on the ice and no one has a clue. unless like in Detroit if you hire the entire Russian Olympic team!

Also I had another friend that was born Jewish and was gay, but my second cousin said was impossible no Jew is gay, I could not find a way to prove that this guy existed each time I brought them together to prove my point one or the other of them ran off to do 'some errand' right away! ...sometimes plans just don't work out, even if you can think about fifty steps before people in Michigan. dumb luck prevails!

I guess this has less to do with your comic but I had to explain why I stated each case to prevent having to do so later!

The Kitsune is a fan of all things Japanese (born on Okinawa). She put together my first experience with miso soup. I thought it had MSG in it but it doesn't. A pleasant change of pace!

I haven't had good Miso soup in ages omg....tho now you're making me wanna stir up a batch of egg drop soup sometime soon...it IS a little cooler out the past few days (doubt it's gonna last, sadly) so hey why not? I'll even getcha the recipe i use--got it from a fellow fur on my now-defunct alt acct XD  ChakatPachinko

I had miso soup for the very first time at a local chain called Tokyo Joe's. I was amazed by how...zen it is. It just made me feel good inside, like it was something I never knew I was missing. ^__^

Tokyo Joe....Humphrey Bogart as a pilot in post war Japan running supplies and stuff. Seriously, not a bad film!

Yeah, Miso is zen, and VERY easy to prepare.

Well, "recently" as in about 5 years ago. XD

Never had it until moving to Colorado though! It's become one of my favorite soups, and one of my favorite Japanese treats. That and tempura sushi. :]
