It can be hard to improve at times and its easy to get discouraged, but even a "keep on truckin" approach works as long as you try to push your boundaries =3

Question, what books have you used to study anatomy and such? Cause its pretty impeccable with you.

Once I was so proud of my first finished equine pic... It was 3 years ago. I'm wondering, where it can be now?.. Quality was awful, I don't think someone saved it, and I've lost it cause of hard drive crash... So, I can't compare it with the new ones. But I'd like to. It provokes me to laugh))

Just btw - the more I see your art/journals/photos the more I realise that one of my favorits,  simuran is completely following your path)

...I shall keep drawing now...This is the most interesting picture of the day for me because I love seeing old work almost more than new work, if only to see how much someone has accomplished. I'm amazed.

Thanks EC. =) Silly as it may seem, I really need this right now. FC reminded me of just how freaking awesome everyone's art is. I was starting to get really down on my stuff. You are 100% right though. Takes time, dedication and practice.

I read somewhere that it takes about 10 000hrs for a person to master a craft on a higher level. Be it drawing, cooking, flying, playing music, juggling knives, rally driving etc.

It's amazing, isn't it? My scrawlings, as passionate as they seemed to me back then, would have gotten me laughed off the internet 10 years ago. :p

Old work, its there so you can hate it in comparison to your new work ^^

That really spoke to me, EC! I keep pouting at my work, but I do notice that over time, it is starting to improve :D! And it has improved greatly since I first started posting! Time to start uploading again :3
