Summer was turning to fall and, as such, rain was becoming a much more common occurrence. Today was a prime example. It was Saturday, and it was absolutely pouring outside. People could be seen bundled up in bulky raincoats, sprinting to and from their car, and trying to replan their day around the unanticipated storm. However, there was one individual who did not mind the rain whatsoever. And why would he care? He didn’t plan on going outside today; he rarely ever did. Instead, he would be staying in bed, confined within a brightly lit hospital room, completely covered from head to toe in a Full Body Cast. Rudoji the fox, previously famous for his outstanding skills as a pilot, was now famous for the several records he had broken over the last several years. These records included: Most Bones Broken, Largest Full Body Cast, Longest Time Spent in a Full Body Cast, and so on. And his cast was certainly deserving of these records. He was held completely immobile and it was so massive that that only a few minor parts of his body were visible to the outside world. There was only a small hole for his mouth, not large enough to speak, but large enough to be fed his regular liquid meals. In addition (thankfully for the poor fox) there were two holes through which his blue eyes peered out through the thick, solid, plaster . Lastly (and most notably) a large, bushy tail (probably the only way in which people could tell he was a fox) escaped from the back-end of the cast. It was an absolutely incredible sight to see, someone so completely covered in solid white plaster, but after several years in the cast, it had become a normal sight for the hospital employees.
Now you can probably understand why Rudoji had no problem with the rain. In fact, he preferred it. Sunny days taunted him as he was unable to go outside and the window in his room was barely visible in his peripheral vision. Moreover, on considerably hot days, the sun from his window would beat down on his Full Body Cast, leaving him sweaty and panting. The rain was peaceful and, even if he wasn’t able to fully look out the window, he greatly enjoyed the sound of rain hitting the glass panes. Rudoji relished this time alone. It’s not that he didn’t like people visiting… it’s just that every single visitation went one of two ways. The first type of visitors were unsurprisingly normal. People would come in, sit down, and subject Rudoji to long, boring, one sided conversations. Besides a few muffled “mfffs” - Rudoji couldn’t exactly participate. Instead, the visitors would just talk about themselves, unknowingly taunting Rudoji with their tales of the world outside the hospital. Eventually the conversation would die out, the visitors would say goodbye, and go about their lives. That being said, the other type of visitors were much, much worse. Being in a Full Body Cast made Rudoji completely and utterly helpless. As such, he was often visited by pranksters. They would take advantage of the poor Full Body Casted fox however they could. They would cover his eyes with a blindfold, put torturously spicy hot sauce in his liquid food, pull his tail (which caused his broken body to ache terribly), draw obscene images on his Full Body Cast, and place some lovely potted flowers on his bedside table (coincidentally the kind of flowers that Rudoji was very allergic to). Unsurprisingly, Rudoji couldn’t do anything about it, nor call the nurses for help, so he just had to endure it until they went away.
The only other person who Rudoji saw regularly was his nurse… a person who Rudoji was absolutely not a fan of. She was the walking definition of a Bimbo. She wasn’t incredibly bright, and Rudoji often wondered how she got through Nursing School to begin with. She was incredibly ditzy, aggravatingly happy, and always talking in a loud, sing-song voice. Lastly, her absolutely massive breasts, bouncing with every step, perpetually threatened to break free of her tight nurses outfit. Worst of all, she was prone to baby-talking Rudoji, such as during feedings when she would say things like “Look at my little cutie patient. I misssssed you. I’ve got some of that blended food you love so much!” Finally saying “open up for the airplannne” before shoving a straw in the mouth-hole of his cast. The worst was during his sponge baths… where the nurse would coo and giggle while washing down his unmentionables...
Then, as Rudoji was coming to peak relaxation, as if on cue, the enjoyable silence was broken by the happy-go-lucky voice of his nurse. “Rudoji! My little sweetie! I have such a great surprise for you!”. Without any further explanation, she hopped over to the side of Rudojis bed and starting moving him into his wheelchair. The hasty and unwarranted movement caused Rudojis broken body to ache, and elicited quite a few angry “mmfffs”. However, the nurse didn’t notice, and Rudoji soon found himself being pushed through the hospital halls. He did not enjoy being paraded around the hospital, soliciting amazed looks from new patients and staff alike. However, Rudoji’s frustration was quickly broken as an incredibly surprising sight entered into his limited field of vision. At first, Rudoji thought he’d come face to face with a mirror. However, he quickly noticed the long, flowing blue hair and antlers protruding from the Full Body Cast - a cast that was almost identical to his. The Full Body Cast was occupied by a female deer… something that would be difficult to tell if not for the antlers and two, large waves of plaster clearly covering a pair of large breasts. Her cast was bright white, indicating that it was relatively new. Confused, Rudoji let out a muffled “mmfff”, eliciting a small “mff” in response.
However, before the muffled conversation could continue, the overly excited nurse chimed in. “Rudoji, this is Willow! She was recently admitted to the hospital. You can imagine how absolutely thrilled I was when I heard that we had another Full Body Casted patient!”.
The Nurse turned back to Willow. “Rudoji has been here in that Full Body Cast for as long as I can remember! Sure he gets plenty of visitors, and him and I are amazing friends, but it’s not like any of us can empathize with someone in a Full Body Cast. That’s why I knew you two would get along, you have so much in common!
Turning back to Rudoji she said “You two can do everything together: relaxing in bed, watching TV, listening to music, drinking your meals, sponge baths, and… um… well I’m sure there are plenty of other things you can do that I’m forgetting, but this is so great! Let’s not waste any more time, I want to get you two set up in your new hospital room as soon as possible!”.
And with that, before he could even let out a muffled “mmfff!”, Rudoji found himself being wheeled down the hospital corridor once again.

Even if conversation and friendship activities are a bit limited... I'm sure Rudoji will feel better having someone around who can sympathize with his situation (even if she's only been in that full body cast for a fraction of the time Rudoji has). And I'm sure she'll empathize even more as time passes and she encounters those pranksters who have messed with Rudoji so much over the years. Really super glad that you like how the picture came out!

I wouldn’t mind joining the pranksters! Sprinkling itching powder beneath the cast, hiding the TV remote after changing it to an annoying channel he hates...maybe even leaving some dirty laundry on him to air out!
Hey, it’s good enrichment, right? Helps keep him from getting too bored!
