I can't get back to traditional anymore...Its like my hand forgot how to use a pencil. The stuff i draw always seems terrible.

I keep looking at that smile. And I keep imagining that cheesy tooth sparkle effect that some guys get when they do that.

I think I've started gaining a better grasp on lines because of how much pencil work I've been doing. Trad and digital seem to feed back and forth for me.

Im fianlly getting feedback from digital to traditional I think. Mostly on pencil control

did you do this at FC? A bunch of us digital folks were trying our best to draw traditionally again since none of us had our equipement with us...funny thing is, is as we drew we ALL were trying to ctrl+z in mid air

Yeah its a crutch aint it. THe equivalent in real life is a short burst time machine which doesn't exist yet.

it totally is...took me almost half an hour to remember which end of the pencil to use...once I figured it out I wrote it on my hand...pointy side goes on pale, thin wood fiber...pinky end is the ctrl+z analog

This right here is the reason I am trying to get back. I did myself a huge disservice to myself by sticking to digital for roughly 75% of my drawing career and I feel that it made me lazy in ways that only stifled my understanding of certain things which is why I take the extra steps that I do to get shit done... things I need to stop doing if I am ever to become more efficient.

with an off red shade where the pencil was laid/ ill be puttin down strokes like back in the day/ simple lines give it life and its existence/ determination breaks any resistance/ worship my idols, a key to survival/ mental cramps need psychological midol...
