This is a short little piece written as part of a play-by-post roleplay. Maerdran, I believe it was called back in its day. Not sure if it's still active. In any case, I can't take full credit, as this was written in another person's setting, and uses characters of other people's. It's been long enough, however, that I feel I can post this safely.
