This is the end. The end of the rambling Sonic GeneX: the Series set of stories. And what an end... Seems like I tried to jam nearly every character into this absurd chapter. Yet many of them were only referenced, and more still couldn't be here for the end. Such a ridiculously huge cast of characters we have.
Rejected ending: I had considered killing off Illusi here. But if I ever finish my fangame trilogy, I'd rather have Illusi appear in all three games, so I killed off...someone else. Someone who wouldn't appear in the games.
The way Copter defeats Dark Copter is somewhat referencing a memorable NPC in my fangame, which I was working on quite a bit as I was writing this. ...I wonder if any of the 5 people who downloaded the game actually played through it? ...
I almost posted the next chapter of Chaos Hearts today but, the ending here actually has an impact on the remaining chapters of Chaos Hearts. Sooo...you'll get the next chapter of that next week.
Should I stick with the title "Sonic GeneX: Doomsday" for the third fangame/final story? Anybody the least bit worried about Tails or Copter's fate? You should be. I'm no longer bound by game canon, and any character could well be killed off, as there is no future story to save them for...
Also, note for myself in case I come looking for notes to myself: Lospecter has a wild-card! Figure out what to do with it, 2BIT! Signed, 2BIT.
