Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I woke up at 6:50 and headed to the living room, where I was able to rest until about 7:30. We got grandpa ready for the morning, then around 9:30ish I took a nodl nap. I woke up around 12ish to go to the bathroom, and went back to sleep until about 1:45. While asleep I had a dream that I was in an encampment with others and some super tough aliens appeared. We had to kill them and we had to do so without having our suits ripped since the atmosphere was poisonous. Several of the aliums ran around and freaked us out but most of them looked like shells and we were able to kill them with a mudslide. After the mudslide, my dad, 2 sisters, and I started walking back to the resort, but we had to make sure we were around a light source at all times or a witch riding a bicycle would pop out of the woods and steal us. We made it back to Southern Komfort and while walking j saw a baby fawn. It was about 8 inches long and very spherical. I easily caught him and spent time petting him while we walked, and the little fella purred like a kitten. We made a pitstop at a Chinese restaurant but the fawn grew restless and leapt from my hands. I made a joke about being careful or the Chinese chef would turn him into the next dish, but he hobbled back toward the direction we came. I went back to the Chinese restaurant and they were checking our IDs to ensure we were at least 10 years old, but this one kid we were with got pinged, and apparently the computer thought he was a 23 year old man disguised as a kid with plastic surgery.

After rousing myself awake I headed to my room and kinda relaxed for a couple minutes, then returned to the living room and made myself a lunch of warmed-up KFC (two breasts), then killed off the mashed potates, gravy, and green beans. Also 2 biscuits. I ate then headed back to my room, where I did some typing and goobing off online. While there it rained super hard, and I hoped it would clear up enough for the fireworks.

It was done raining when I headed to the living room around 6:10ish, then played Switch until we got grandpa ready for the night around 6:30. From there I packed my bags and headed out around 7:15ish. Grandma was super worried because there was storms forecast for Cape Coral, which is like 1.5 hours away, but I headed out anyway. I originally planned to get a hot dog on the way there, but I just wasn't hungry and sipped a ginger ale with orangeade instead. While walking, I remembered how forlorn I felt the year before, but dang, this year I just felt so much better!

I found a good spot on the beach and relaxed and read my book. A couple kids were playing soccer near me, but didn't get too close. Then a little girl and her family passed, and she was singing a song about making a true wish. There were kids playing ball and swimming and shore-boarding. It was Americana! The clouds were getting really pretty and crazy and cool and at one point a soccer ball hit my backpack (from the nearby kids who showed up), but just all in all it was <333

The firework show was incredible, and there was lightning flashing in the distance. After the finale around 9:15, less than half a second after the last firework exploded, a giant streak of lightning flashed in the background. It was perfect! <3

I walked back home and saw three little girls covered nearly head to toe in glow bracelets. A guy chatting on the phone asking where Elizabeth was. People throwing glowing lights in the air. I stood in line to get on the boardwalk (wondering if the carrying capacity of it was exceeded), then waited in line to cross the road. I got a couple of hotdogs at 7/11 (The cashier almost rang me up for a 6 pack of smirnoff ice that the last customer bought, but I corrected him and told him it was alright...Holidays are always long days in the service industry!), then headed home and ate...Relish on each dog, 3 packs of mustard. I stayed up until about 2 AM playing KoL and watching Naruto.
