Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I woke up at 6:50 and headed to the living room, where I was able to get a little rest. However because it started raining grandma woke me up to tell me about it. Thanks I guess! I was having a dream about Zelda 2 bad guys, and a white color palate on some of the tougher enemies which made them even harder to beat.

Grandpa woke up at 8ish and we started getting him ready, but while doing so I saw a large barge approach the dock. I knew today was the dock preparation day, and so I told grandma and she went out there and started chatting with the guys. The rest of the morning was fairly chaotic as she popped back and forth between the house and the lenai, trying to help the others. She also had to deal with the boat and figure out when Walker Marina was coming to pick up the boat.

We did get grandpa ready around 9ish but I wasn't able to get a nap because I helped the people with the dock stuff. At first I helped coil some ropes while they were gone, then grandma wanted to lower the boat and move it forward. Grandma and I went inside the boat and she was pretty happy because it was the first time she'd been inside it in 3 years. I thought the inside of the boat would be a lot worse looking, but other than a few tiny black mold spots on the bathroom door (which were easy to rub off), it looked pretty okay!

I spent time watching more Mike Tyson mysteries in the living room, then around 11ish Captain Ben from Walker Marina knocked on the door. I helped him get the boat started (Grandma stood on the stairs and shouted instructions at us, and though I could tell she was super antsy and wanted to “help”, we managed to get it up and running without her), and though only one motor worked, he was able to take it off to the marina. A pleasure serving under you, Captain Ben!

From there I spent a few minutes cooling off, then got ready and headed out and about. I gave mum a call and basically spent most of the time complaining about the heat (she was on her way to Walmart as well), then after she hung up (she had to go to the bonk), I drove to the nearby walmart and did some quick shopping. It wasn't as busy around noon as it usually is in the late afternoon, so I was able to get in and get out pretty quickly. I even looked at some of the kayaks, but they were either too short or not open-kayaks. Still, doesn't hurt to look!

After shopping I headed to Taco Bell. I was feeling a little sleepy, but not too bad and I knew that Baja Blast would really perk me up. When I got there I got a steak Quesadilla meal with a hard taco and a Burrito Supreme. I wanted some of the fries but they were out (which meant I also couldn't get the Diablo Fries burrito), and they were also out of cinnabons. I ate the food (the Baja Blast tasted like it was slightly diet? Still good tho) then headed back home. When I got there it started raining and thundering and lightninging, but I was still able to unload the groceries. The apple juice fell out of the bag and I had to lightly kick it into the garage (lightning scurs me!), then I went back to my room and used the bathroom and spent time typing. I got about 1100 words completed, then grabbed a shower and headed to the living room. I watched a couple more Mike Tyson Mysteries, then took a nodl nap around 4:15ish.

I woke up at 6:30ish when grandma woke me up, and we spent about 20 minutes getting grandpa ready for the night. I had a buttload of 3 meat pizza rolls then before cleaning up I had to run back to the bathroom. I spent about 20 minutes back there, then returned to the kitchen to clean the dishes. I nebulized grandpa at 8:19 as grandma watched America's Got Talent (Her Tuesday fave!), then headed back to my room. I spent some time doing commission work while watching Mike Tyson Mysteries, then did a bit more doodling! I wound up going to bed a little after 3, because I am bad at bedtimes.
