Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I had a dream that I was trying to fundraise for band by selling tickets to a basketball game played solely by band members. We got to use the high school gym, though my sister and their band had to use the middle school one. While walking to the middle school mum and my sisters got caught in quicksand, so I told them how they could escape. They eventually wriggled their way out and we headed to the gym for the game!

I woke up at 9:45 (hit snooze a couple times) then headed to the living room. When I got there I chatted with grandma a bit, and before I knew it her accountant Mark arrived. They were chatting a bit about the transfer of wealth after grandpa's death, so I made the last 2 toaster strudels (Got 3 packs of icing!) and then played computer a bit. The attorney arrived soon, and they discussed numerous things. I wound up getting the car's title and a receipt (in case tax requirements need it). I wound up going back to my room to give them some privacy, then headed to the living room around 12ish right after they left.

I kinda wanted to spend the rest of the day in the living room since it was my last day. As I had done so many times before, I took a nodl nap from about 12ish to about 3:45. When I woke up grandma was crocheting and watching cowboys...Just like always! <3

We wanted to spend one last meal eating out, and she suggested Snook's Inn. Perfect. Snook's Inn was the last restaurant grandpa ever ate at. The first March I was down here, roughly a day before the stroke that would permanently incapacitate him, we ate there with his cousin Adele and her caretaker Celeste. It was a fitting choice.

I drove us to the restaurant (some rain here and there, but not much), and we got seats inside near the bay window. Apparently they'd redone their interior in the time between then and now. It was really nice. We ordered our food and grabbed some salad from the bar. Of course I ate a couple of their pickle chunks, and the salad was absolutely wonderful. A fly buzzed around us while feasting, but it was just a minor inconvenience. For dinner I had a seafood platter, which included cooked shrimp, scallops, mahi, snook, and a crab cake. It was good, but the fish was a little dry, and there was no way I could eat the rice...I was just too full. Grandma had a lobster that was topped with mac n cheese and had a side of mashed potatoes. She ate a lot of it, but told the waiter that the meal had too many carbs, and that the mashed potates should have been veggies...She wasn't rude about it, but said it in that “Here's a suggestion!” kinda way.

I drove us back home, then after going to the bathroom I returned to the living room to sit with grandma and stay in her presence. I played more minecraft, then at 7ish I focused more on the TV. I couldn't resist one last Wheel of Fortune! I swear that grandma is really good at getting the first half of the puzzle, and I'm good at solving the second half. We'd make one heck of a team, even with Final Spins like “Joining a Club”.

I remained out there for Jeopardy, and we decided to split a pudding. To grandpa! I wasn't that good at Jeopardy, and I swear that my intelligence has taken a hit in recent years...Perhaps true, or perhaps a bias where earlier Jeopardy categories just so happened to more align with my interests. Regardless, I did get the final Jeopardy question (This publication first published a photo in 1889...National Geographic), then after that I realized that it was about time I headed back to my room.

I went back there and took some clothes with me, but then decided to go swimming one last time. Might as well take advantage of the pool while I have it! I did about 200 squats in the pool and tried to swim back and forth underwater, but my lungs are terrible and I panic too easily, and on the return I felt like I inhaled some water. Regardless, I did get to one end and past the ladder again.

I headed back to my room around 8:30ish, then ate another pudding and chatted a bit with some frands online. I played more craftmines for a couple hours, then cleaned the bathroom a bit. I went back to my room (Watching Zim) and decided to do a bit of typing. Because I knew I had to get to bed super early the next night, I wound up staying up until about # even finished all the Zim episodes! Final night of sleep at grandma's!
