Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I woke up at about 10ish and roused myself out of bed. I headed to the mess hall and had a left over burg, a couple bags of chips, and a few Reese's candies. After eating and chatting on my phone a bit, I headed back up to my room and let it charge for a while, since it was getting super low. I had tried to charge it the night before, but it kept detecting moisture that wasn't there. I got to my room and let the phone charge as I spent time editing my Emperor Qin novel. I did fall asleep, then around 1ish I woke back up and kinda wandered around the campus. I played pool with the childrens, who seemed to have a supernatural ability to recognize when I was playing. I swear that as soon as I picked up the cue, thirty kids would just pop out of every crevice and ask if they could play. We tried teams yesterday, but those games were slow, lasted too long, and often the kids would grow bored between play and wander off, so I said that we could do a tourney-style bracket, with winners advancing to the next level. Of course I would usually be much better than the kids in terms of hitting the balls into the hole, but this came with a downside...Namely, I think I lost every game because I'd accidentally hit the 8 ball into the hole as well.

I spent some time sitting outside with uncles and aunts in the hanging chairs and listening to their stories. I did return inside to play more pool, ate some snacks, then around 4:30 I gave my frand David a call. Funny enough he was only about 5 minutes away, and while chatting with him he missed the gravel turn-off. He turned around tho and opened the gate and then I saw him! He drove up and parked and I gave him a hug! <3

I showed him the campus, and he was wildly impressed with the quality of the area; even going so far as to take photos. Inside the campus, the rooms we were bunking, the covered wagons by his car that had beds...All of them! After a brief tour we headed down to the lake, 'cause mum and dad said they wanted to see David. When we got down there they were just getting out. We chatted for a bit, then they gave us their towels and floats. David and I jumped into the water and relaxed and chatted in there for about an hour about my plans and Louisville and taxes and such. When we got out we dried off and headed around the pond, then down to another part of the lake, then up to the giant chess board. We began playing checkers, and I wound up with like 8 pieces on the board while he had 4...But alas! We could not finish, since we were called up to the mess hall for dinner!

Dinner was a delicious plate of spaghet and meatbols, a side salad, some rolls, and for dessert I had 3 brownies and a slice of chocolate cake! David had to wait for his noodles to be made since all the other noodles were doused in sauce, and the sauce had meat, and he can't eat that due to the Lone Star disease he got from a tick. Nasty!

But he did get his spaghet with plain sauce and after eating we were herded into the Party Cabin for a family photo, which David took. After we headed to the fire to listen to Sean be a silly guy...But it was not to be, since his eye was hurting from an earlier issue with a contact lens, so he went to bed early. Instead David and I hung out in the mess hall (We wanted to arrange the letters that read 'Pine Paradise' into 'Penis Parade', but it was too tuff), then wandered into the party cabin. We played a couple games of pool, and while playing I jokingly exclaimed 'Butt-fucka'! (Imagine with the same intonation and accent as Peter Griffin when saying 'Butt scratcha'!). When I did this one of the smol children said “Hey, calm down!”. David and I could only laugh.

I think that kid asked if he could play when we finished, and we agreed...But he rushed out of the party cabin after some friends, so we started another game...Then another...Then another. Once he almost caught us in our lie (“I thought David was stripes and you were solids.”), but we maintained the ruse for some time. When he came inside as we were finishing a game, my winning score with the 8 bol meant we had no choice but to hand the table over to him. We moved to corn hole, then that funny kid wanted help finding the cartoons. As luck would have it they were playing Rocko's Modern Life on the Nicktoon channel, so of course we settled in and watched that. David and I sat in the comfy chairs reliving the humor from our youth, but about 12:30 he told me he was getting tired.

Problem: Janette had gotten shitty-drunk and pissy and had gone to bed in a tiff, and she knew where the empty beds were.
Solution: Find someone else who might know.

We knew Natalie and her kids had headed home, so we went to the mess hall and asked if anyone knew where she had been sleeping. Mum said that she had been sleeping in the farthest and middle sections in the balcony above our side...But when we got up there the middle section was occupied. The furthest wasn't, however, and he settled in for the night. I spent a little more time watching Rocko, but by about 1:30 I headed to bed as well. After doing a little typing I headed to bed around 2.
