Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up at 7:30 and went downstairs, where I ate a couple slices of pizza. By around 8 we were once more working on the house, diligently packing and moving things that grandma once treasured. I felt super honored because we went into the living room and she asked if there was anything I wanted, and I said the blue dragon...It was a noodle she got from China! She seemed a little forlorn wrapping it up, but ultimately parted with it fairly well. I think that once she's able to separate herself from something, she's able to easily adapt to life without that thing. Perhaps I am the same way.
At around 10:30 we stopped to eat some lunch, and I had 5 more slices of pizza. After, grandma wanted me to go to Kroger and Uncle Paul wanted me to pick up some more supplies from Uhaul. In addition to all of that I needed to go by a place with WiFi so I could order mum some birthday pears, so an adventure it was!
I drove north to an area that looked like it was filled with derelict warehouses, but hidden amongst them was a little Uhaul place. Their office was in a temporary trailer, and when I went inside the guy had to slowly figure out how to charge me for the amount of stuff I wanted. After, we had to go into the warehouse beside the old office, and after walking amongst rows of storage units we stopped and got some small and large boxes (and paper) from inside. We had to go to another storage unit for the medium boxes, then after stuffing all of them in my car I returned to the temporary office-trailer and paid for the extra roll of paper I got from within storage. From there I returned to grandma's and dropped off the supplies before heading out to Kroger. The Kroger wasn't that much further, and after doing a bit of shopping I stopped by a Taco Bell en route, but it had no wifi! Hecc! I decided to just order the pears from my phone, which seemed to work well enough!
I headed back home and spent a bit more time helping move stuff, but then by about 4ish Paul and Charlotte had to get ready to head to the Whittick's house (An old frand from their schooldays), so I relaxed on the couch and wound up taking a nodl nap. I woke up at around 6ish and grabbed a shower, then grandma and I had a dinner of gourmet beans Leo made yesterday, a rotisserie chicken, and a baked potate. As we finished eating Alecia and Debbie came by and got a few items from the grab boxes, then we showed Debbie around the house and told her of our childhood. Truthfully, thinking about it, there's a bit of sadness I have with that...As time goes on, more and more of my life is spent. That means my mate, if I ever get one, will experience less and less of my life, and I less and less of hers. Will we be but two strangers who simply cuddle together to stave off the loneliness of oblivion, or will it be love? With each passing day the answer becomes clearer. Already, it will be impossible for me to give her a tour of this house, since it'll only be in the family's possession for another month or so. After that, it returns to grandpa's kids.
They left and I headed upstairs. However around 9:45 I wanted some milkshakes and so I went downstairs and enjoyed some, then headed back to my room and watched some Twisted (Saved on my computer from the Irma days) and did some typing. I wound up drawing some worldbuilds as well, and ultimately went to bed around 1:30ish. Late!
I hope everyone has a pear-ordering day! <333
