i was originally going to do a drider ych thing this month, but snektember burned me out a bit, and spiders are a lot more complex, so i'll save that idea for next year. instead, i'm thinking i'll just do something simple- spooky headshots! now this is a new thing so i don't have any good examples of the exact thing i'm going for with these, so i just gathered the only headshots i had in my gallery where i was going for a spookier look. there's a pretty wide variety tho... so to be clear, these can either be artistic freedom, where you could get something that looks like ANY of the above examples, or something different even, OR, you can SPECIFY what kind of look you would prefer.

if you give me artistic freedom, the style you get will probably be like the upper left or lower right, with slightly sketchy lines, and either soft painted or hard sketchy shadows. default expression is 'insane grin', like upper right and lower left.

if you want to specify a particular style, note that the upper right and lower left with the cleaner lines will only be unshaded or with solid black, sketchy shading (this hides a lot of detail, but i am told it is EXTRA spooky looking), but if you allow sketchy lines like upper left and lower right, you can ask for any style of shading you want.
what's more important to specify, i think, is if you want a particular expression or horror aspect. for example, insane grin is my default, but it could also be sorrowful like upper left or blank like lower right, plus, i can add things like blood and gore, but only if you say you want it (and you can specify what kind of gore; stitches, missing body parts, just blood, cuts, bullet holes, etc).
also important to specify is if you want this to be an icon. i'll probably default to higher res if you don't, and those don't always shrink down well.






tldr; 5$ for a horror-themed, spooky headshot. if you want a particular line/shading style, facial expression, or addition(gore), you MUST specify, otherwise you'll get no-blood, generic insane grin, sketchy lines, painted or sketchy shading, with desaturated (kind of greyed out) colors.
