The creation of this song was as inevitable as the tides eventual rise... ever since his debut in The Boy Next Door ( 
tbnd ) I felt that familiar surge in my chest, and it's never let go. This is a simple piece, but heartfelt. It has two meanings in its title.. both Randy's fascination with finding his adonis, and my fascination with him.... wishing someone like that existed that could see something in me.
I suppose at the end of the day I'm a hopeless romantic... do all these strong emotions really make my music better?

I'm flattered, of course, to be honoured with this piece my work has inspired. It's quite fitting for Randy too, especially given his story that's been told thus far and seems to be a blend of your own emotions and the character you've written it for. It took me a while to recognise what memory the piece sparked, but it feels very much like some of the music to the better Studio Ghibli films I've seen in the past couple of years.
It's nice that my internet is allowing me to hear something new by you again, though I suspect it shan't last.
