I really think that the think lines are what makes his artwork extra-yummy. I believe those kind of lines really help with that "huge/thick" look.
Although I have a firm belief that everyone should draw everything (in practice), while muscle is damn fine. I really wonder how a "regular" size would look drawn by him in retrospect >_>
You did a wonderful job as a colourist/inker for giving his pencils the spirit of his work, along with your own flavor.
