A little house keeping before we start. I only remember really parts of Morphin Season 2 and 3 from my youth. So the exact aspects of some of this may be a little off. I can learn, and did, from the Wiki and another friend who watched far more Power Rangers than I. But TeiOuja suggested SPD as a good setting and my initial feeling was sure! Police force rangers there's loads of possibilities there. But that was before I learned, well likely just reminded my brain, about the Z-wave that marked the end of Rangers in Space and the Zordon Era. This would have wiped out the Tenga that were helping Rita as she was purified. However we DO see Tenga often in the background actually in SPD in Piggy's cafe. So, thankfully, the Tenga helping the United Alliance of Evil wasn't their entire race. So I could have easily had Ro just arrive at Earth in 2025 having not been part of the flock that was taken/hired by Rita and her brother. But seeing as how when we first see the Tenga they are hatched fully grown I thought of a possible way to have both. And having history with both the planet and Rangers would have made it more fun. For me at least. Seeing how things have changed since the last time he was there being thrown into fountains.

Also tossed in some names of species that may be showing up because the wiki was not forthcoming with the names of some of the alien species I saw in the screenshots of SPD.

Countdown to Galactic Conquest!

The beam from The Generals sword arched over their heads as the Tenga worked to screen him from the Golden obstacle. The last thing stopping their conquest. And the Gold Zeo Ranger for once didn't pull out some new item or fancy move to deflect or dodge the beam. Instead was hit full force by it and sent reeling backwards. Staggering to try and stay on his feet. Ro and his fellows puffing up a little at this for once possible show of good fortune against the Rangers before Goldar shouted them into action.

"Now birds! Go! Swarm! Conquer!"

Hopping off the ground a little at being snapped to action the Tenga quickly did as they were directed and flapped forward. Wings beating to give theme extra speed to close the gap as some of them even leapt off the ground to position themselves for flying kicks. The Ranger couldn't possibly block or dodge them all could he?! And...nothing! He ate all those wings, hands and feet to his body and was smashed down to the ground! The Tenga were shocked. A real victory! Over one of the shinier Rangers they had seen too! RT hopping from foot to foot as he raised his wings in triumph and squawked with his fellows! Victory! Vica would surely fall now with their grand champion now pinned beneath several Tenga currently cheering on his chest.

Looking back at the Boss Couple watching from a hill behind The General they were waving as well. Giving praise for the Tenga's victory. It filled them with even more joy that for once they could fully please their employers. And once the Galaxy was theres there would be nowhere they couldn't go and see. No planet they could fly through and experience. The entire place would be in their talons to enjoy!

-Crrrrash!-

Everyone, from Ranger to birdbrain, looked up at the loud crashing sound. Like glass but far deeper. Coming from all around rather than a specific direction. Making them all look around confused before the shrill cry of Mistress Rita was followed by a point. A shaking point of pure panic. Eyes soon drawn to the sky as a massive surge of light was heading their way. A rich orange wave rapidly approaching them all. Panic quickly setting in as the Tenga started to hop and flap their wings as they looked back at their leaders for any sign of what to do about this. But they only saw Mistress Rita scream about 'Help me Zeddy!'

The wave continuing its surging progress as a few Tenga tried to quickly take flight to try and get some distance, while RT and a few of the more experienced tried to open their wings and shield the cowering birds behind before the light reached them. And despite the bright orange glow, everything almost instantly went black, silence replacing the screams and squawks of fear.

Earths Orbit, Orbius Trade Station
2025 (Earth Time)

Closing the deal, always the most tricky part once the customer was hooked in. The artifact was sure to be bought. That wasn't in doubt at this point. Just needed to extract out the highest price now.

"Of course I just want to give you the best deal!" The Human exclaimed, arms spreading out wide to show that everything was laid bare in the deal. It wasn't. The Ursena...frowning? If it was possible for them too and even then if it could be seen past their two huge teeth.

"Deal is good. Equal transfer of goods. But this one feels like the cost of the ovoid item is not equal." Reaching forward to tug the four foot egg back toward him a little the Human quickly ran through a few scenarios in his head before trying again. He knew this would be bought but...profits.

"But you misunderstand Miss! This is no ordinary egg. Not just because of its size but also its age." The Ursena perking up at that as the four eyes darted from the egg to the Human as he continued. "From my sources," as in his own mind, making up stories to improve his stock. But he paused for dramatic effect and leaned forward. Beckoning for his mark to come closer as well before he finished off. "This specimen is over seventy years old. And at the age it is now its been claimed that the taste one gets when its cooked will remain with you for at least that many years. A heavenly meal, apologies if you don't have an equivalent, that you'll never forget!"

The female looking back at the egg as the Human smirked, she was hooked ever since she first saw it. He knew setting up this stand next to the new arrivals dock would pay off finally! And after a few more seconds of looking the personal pad was brought out and set on the table. "The transfer shall proceed. Many family on Water Planet that will enjoy meal together."

The pad beeped by the reader before they both laid their hands on the egg to move it over to her side of the table. Before it shook. Making them both stop to look at the shell between them. And then it shook again and a crack started to form in the upper quadrant of it. The Ursena quickly reaching for the Human but he had already let go and was clutching the reading that had the payment already on it.

"No return policy!" Before he took off toward the main area of the station. The scorned and now hungry female in hot pursuit shouting for police as the egg tilted side to side lightly. Left by itself on the desk before the shaking inside of it caused it to roll sideways, and fully off the table.

Cracking open on the ground the egg turned out not to be fully of yummy goodness but instead a mass of black feathers that after some groaning rose up to reveal a beaked face. Blinking and looking around at metal walls and blinking lights. Holding its face and trying to not panic. Not freak out. Slowly collapsing back to the floor and curling up as its breath came in short ragged bursts.
