Decided to finally make a Scivoli Kobold last night, a stocky gluttonous space pirate named Tac! Their crew is loyal, in part because Tac excels at putting down rebellion with their gooey gut. Involves permavore!
Tac deals with a rebellious crew member the only way they know how--by scarfing them down...
Tac’s Gluttony
By: Indi
Tac grabbed a bottle of liquor at random from the crate beside them. They gave a passing glance at the label—some artificially aged rum from a high-end brand—but only really paid attention to the alcohol percentage. As a scivoli, Tac didn’t have the same sense of taste as other, solid species. They could feel the kick as it poured down their covered throat of orange goo and into their stomach, but any nuance in taste was lost on them.
At least it made them drunk. Eventually.
They took a giant swig of the rum and sighed, letting the liquor go to work in their small body. Tac wore a sturdy, armored shell that made them resemble a robotic kobold, though there were enough reinforced viewports revealing orange goo to make it obvious they were a scivoli. The shell itself was mostly black, with various orange highlights here and there. It made up for their short stature, allowing Tac to maintain a strong presence as the captain of a crew of space pirates.
Course as long as they were paid the crew didn’t care how short or how big their captain was. And Tac never missed a payday.
A couple dozen of the crew were with Tac at that moment, all enjoying the booze they’d stolen from a raid on a corporate transport. The luckiest amongst them also sported large, bulging bellies that gurgled and churned loudly as they drank. All that was left of the transport’s crew and passengers. Tac followed the philosophy that it was harder for anyone to identify the pirates if they’d been digested into fresh pudge.
While the atmosphere in the room was generally cheerful, one pirate in particular wasn’t smiling or laughing like all the rest.
Vane finished the last of his bottle and tossed it aside. He was a rotund white wolf, so fat he barely fit into his jacket, his belly peeking out. The largest and drunkest there, Vane was a mountain of foul mood. “Not sure why we’re celebrating a snack and some booze like we struck it rich,” he grumbled, loudly. “The haul was crap!”
The others quieted down some, all eyes turning towards Tac. The captain didn’t appear fazed by Vane’s comments. “Jealous you were too slow to snag a meal of your own this time, Vane? I heard you got wedged in a doorway again and missed most of the action.”
A raucous laughter broke out. Vane clenched his teeth and growled. “Laugh all you want, but if I was in charge we’d all be drowning in credits instead of cheap booze!”
“Vane if you were in charge we’d all be stewing in the bellies of sector security. Now that I think about, that’s exactly what you were doing when I recruited you.”
The embarrassing reminder was more than enough to send Vane over the edge. He stormed over to Tac, gut wobbling wildly. Vane was considerably larger than Tac—both in height and width—and tried to loom over his boss as best he could. “You know what, maybe it’s time for us to have a captain who can actually throw their weight around instead of a tiny orange jello mold!”
Few had ever dared to challenge Tac’s command so bluntly, and tension briefly filled the room. Tac’s mood didn’t change at all, though. They waved up at the wolf and gave as good a grin as their metal helmet could manage. “Sorry, it’s hard to hear you from all the way down here, mind repeating that?”
Furious, Vane knelt down, getting right up in Tac’s face. “It’s gonna be even harder to hear me once I’ve crammed you into my—”
The threat turned into a yelp as Tac smashed their bottle of liquor right into Vane’s skull. The wolf collapsed before Tac, woozy and groaning. “Looks like I’m gonna be indulging on one hell of a victory feast tonight!”
The others cheered as Tac grabbed ahold of the barely conscious Vane and began to swallow him whole. Despite being short and stocky, Tac could eat just as well as a person twice their size. Plates on their shell started to separate as more and more of vane was gulped down, jaws stretching around the wolf’s thick shoulders and chest.
Being made of goo, Tac didn’t have to wait for hide or muscles to distend in order to swallow a person. The consumption of Vane was frighteningly fast, Tac practically engulfing their soon-to-be former crewmember. By the time Vane had started to recover from the attack, he was already more than halfway down Tac’s gullet, and in no position to escape on his own.
Tac’s belly rapidly ballooned as it filled with blubbery wolf. With the chest plates on their shell separated Tac’s gooey middle was exposed, giving everyone else a fairly clear view of Vane as he frantically struggled within. No matter how fiercely he pushed at the goo, he couldn’t break free. There was obvious fright on the foolish, drunken wolf’s face, even before his legs and tail were swiftly swallowed.
With a quick slurp Vane was sealed inside Tac, whose neck plates clicked back together.
Thanks to Vane Tac had grown massive, their belly taller than they were. The sides of it bulged dramatically as Vane continued to squirm, always bouncing back like rubber. The party atmosphere returned to the room as the other pirates got a good laugh at Vane’s expense. No one showed the least bit of concern or sympathy for Vane, who hadn’t been the most popular amongst the crew. Instead they cheered Tac on, and took casual bets on just how fat the scivoli was likely to get.
Tac gave their enormous gut a hard slap, laughing as it jiggled and Vane wiggled. “I’d like to thank Vane for so generously volunteering to fill his captain’s empty belly. He even remembered how I like my food to be big and squirmy! Not to mention fattening~” The laughter grew louder, while Vane’s struggles grew wilder. “Thanks to him I’m going to end up as twice the captain I was before—maybe even thrice!”
“W-Wait, Captain, I’m sorry! It was the booze, I swear, please let me out!” All of Vane’s bravado had fled, and the filling wolf proved more than willing to beg and whine to save his skin. “I’ll clean all the armor and weapons, I’ll work for no pay, I’ll do anything!”
“Vane, all I want you to do is be a good little snack and start churning.” Tac cackled and gave their boulder of a gut a firm squeeze.
Further protests from Vane were drowned out by the laughter of the crew. Plenty took the opportunity to pat Tac’s belly and wish Vane goodbye, if only so they could feel how huge their captain had grown. Tac’s gluttony was always a wondrous sight to behold—and the reason anyone sensible avoided seriously teasing them about their size.
Tac enjoyed the attention their gut got, proudly displaying Vane as a trophy. They could already imagine the massive ball belly they’d have once Vane digested. It’d be time to pull the extra large shells out of storage. Though waddling around in an outgrown shell was always fun for a day or two. It was a shame Vane wouldn’t be around to see it.
