This is my submission for
lazywolfcreations' contest.

She's looking for a character design, and the winner gets a free partial fursuit.
Since the name of her company is Lazy Wolf Creations, I thought I should try something that sends an unmistakable message of relaxation/laziness. Almost immediately, the image of someone laying down in a field of grass, watching the clouds drift by came to mind. So I decided to do something unique and make a blue wolf with cirrus clouds on it.
After searching for a while, I found this template of a sleeping wolf and knew it was gonna be the perfect one to use.

I also referenced a picture of some cirrus clouds and this tutorial.

Though I followed very little of the tutorial and mainly figured out the coloring for myself.
This mainly involved a lot of gradient work and heavy use of the smudge tool. I didn't keep track, but it took me a few hours, using The Gimp.
Finished work © Me (To be relinquished to lazywolfcreations if I win)
