So this year I will be working as staff at Confuzzled 2010 in Manchester, and was approached by the conbook team in order to produce one of the images for a 2 page spread.
The theme is science, and my image is of Galileo. In extreme brief, he was persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church for implying that the Earth was not the centre of the Universe.
There were three elements to the drawing, the background, Galileo, and the Cleryman. This is a quick snap of what the three would look like spliced together.

not meant in a rude way but no, not really :P I was just commissioned to do a drawing so this is not a message I am intending to make, simply presenting a drawing I have made and the reasoning behind it. If something about the history is wrong, certainly that is not my doing but merely the information I have been provided with, mostly from wiki :D
