So this year I will be working as staff at Confuzzled 2010 in Manchester, and was approached by the conbook team in order to produce one of the images for a 2 page spread.

The theme is science, and my image is of Galileo. In extreme brief, he was persecuted by the Roman Catholic Church for implying that the Earth was not the centre of the Universe.

There were three elements to the drawing, the background, Galileo, and the Cleryman. This is the mostly cleaned up version of the background. This is the first time I have drawn toony buildings, so I am rather pleased with the way they have come out. The shading took the best part of a day.
