Did I mention that I was running on maybe two hours sleep?

I was. Tried to catnap on the first leg to Salt Lake City, and tried again on the hop over the Sierra Nevada. No soap, so I was a wee bit punchy.

Still, I decided that some photographic proof that I was, in fact, in San Francisco was required. The SFPD station was right next to the baggage claim area, and after I collected my suitcase I headed outside to meet the shuttle van that I had reserved to take me to my hotel.

I have neglected to mention that I was in full Retirement Drag - loud shirt, cargo shorts, sock and sandals (I find that taking sandals off is much easier than sneakers). People said I that I was going to freeze my ass off, but the temperature that afternoon (I arrived at 1235 PT) was in the mid-80s, so very pleasant.
