Thank you kindly! I really do that on purpose and I'm glad it has a good effect. I found pictures that have those hairs of details *everywhere* don't let you really have any focus. It helps bring the viewer to where you want to look and (hopefully) gives an illusion of depth by letting things in the back/not main focus to kinda fade off a little.
