Next entry among my newest collection of SCP-inspired monsters – based on the second prompt of the 30-Monster-Challenge, “Centaur.”
Subject: MA-XX66
Discovered in Ireland, initial attempts at capture and containment proved challenging due to the nature of this particular anomaly. While it is fully corporeal to human and animal senses, with a physical impact on a natural environment, it will not register on artificial sensory equipment, such as cameras, motion detectors, microphones, and other such devices. Likewise, structures made of manufactured materials such as concrete, steel, and plexiglass prove ineffective at enclosing it. However, it can be restricted to a designated area using natural means, such as planting trees or thickets, or utilizing natural chasms, stones, or bodies of water. As such, it is currently contained on-site and carefully monitored.
Possessing a high level of intelligence, it refers to itself as “The Storyteller.” Interestingly, while it possesses three distinct “bodies” and heads capable of separate thought, it refers to itself with singular pronouns, and knowledge is shared between the three via currently unknown methods. Bodies are often seen linking hands, though the reason for this is also unknown (if there is indeed a reason). Each head is capable of speech, with its primary language being ancient Celtic, although it may also speak a number of other languages found throughout the British Isles, both past and present, as well as several as-of-yet unidentified dialects.
Study has been difficult due to its primary anomalous properties. It will often tell stories, which are set in the past, present, and even future – while the three heads will give variations of the same story during the telling, one of them will always be true. It will never state which version is the truth, instead stating that they are all true. Creatures possessing a certain level of intelligence (or higher), including humans, will find themselves effectively entranced and will stop to listen (if they are capable of hearing), regardless of what they may have been doing previously. This effect persists until the story concludes.
Eye contact is not recommended, as looking one of these heads in the eye while it is telling a story can cause a person to lose their grip on reality. They become fully engrossed in the story, to the point where they believe that they themselves are a part of it, and regardless of any prior knowledge, they will believe the version told by that particular head is the truth. Should eye contact be somehow made with all three, this can result in a complete breakdown of the individual’s perception of reality, being unable to distinguish what is “true” and “untrue.” This effect persists even after the story’s conclusion.
As before, let me know what you think, or if you have any other ideas for a creature such as this.

Just from looking at it: Love it! 8D
And after reading the description: I love it even MORE NOW <3333333
I thought you were going to mention that the stories it tells would also not show up on recording devices, just as it cannot be seen by artificial things, like cameras or motion detectors/trackers.
Being a bit of a storyteller myself, and with my penchant for siren-like powers, I love the idea of this kind of story-telling power it has. :D
