I recently watched the old B&W movie “The Belles of St. Trinian’s” (1954), and I decided to do a tribute to this classic British comedy about the rowdiest girls’ school in England.
In my furry version one of St. Trinian’s mischievous students has waylaid the village baker’s delivery lad on the back lane that parallels St. Trinian’s playing fields. I wonder what sort of games she has in mind?

I've never seen "The Belles of St. Trinian's" so I don't know anything about it but from the knickerbockers, the high socks, the suspenders and the hat the guy's wearing, I'm guessing it takes place in the 20s or 30s. Ooh, she's got her socks and shoes off. She definitely means business according to standards back then. Woo-hoo! I may have to see if Netflix has this movie available.
Good observations..., although I think that English country folks wore this kind of costume for even longer. I was thinking the 30s, although her skirt is even short for then (artistic license!)..., and going barefoot IS a part of flirting in my book!
Just a warning..., it's an old British movie, so the humour is pretty low key. There's a modern '2' that's also pretty good..., and both are based on a series of cartoons.

Here in Canada we sometimes get more British stuff than folks in the US. I should have googled 'St Trinians' before my earlier reply, though..., turns out there were several more 'St Trinians' movies made. The two I had on DVR were the first one (1954) and the last one (2008 - subtitled 'Fritton's Gold').
