I walked north from Fillmore to Haight, finding myself in the Lower Haight district. I then started west.

By Sisyphus' aching arches, the walk uphill was a trial for my knees, and I had to walk even father uphill to get this picture. This is Buena Vista Park, located near the top of the hill I was climbing. Nice quiet place to pause and take a breather before soldiering on.
