This is a part of the great lawn in the park, and it is huge. It put me in mind of the English Garden in Munich, which I walked through in 2006, and parts of Central Park that I visited in 2009. The Park includes the San Francisco Botanical Garden, a bison paddock, and areas for recreation such as soccer fields and baseball diamonds.

Really a beautiful place.

And that reminds me - many of the parks and green spaces I walked past or through had signs in them warning people about coyotes and poisonous snakes, so I kept my eyes open. The biggest warning about coyotes was "Do Not Feed," as the city doesn't want these wild animals losing their fear of humans.
