This is Spreckels Lake, where I stopped to catch my breath and rest my feet for a while before moving further downhill. Just sat there, listening to the wind in the trees and watching the duck and Canadian Geese swimming about. It's a fairly large body of water, with signs up declaring that amateur RC boaters use the lake for sailing model yachts and such.
