I probably should have said that better. What I meant was is the race evolved to be more of a sneaky crafter like 3, 6, and 7. Evolved to be more anthro and focus on intellect instead of natural abilities like 2 and 4. Evolved to keep their feral side like in 1 and 8. As for 5 that seems to be a mix of all of them.
Interesting ideas, but I don't think because 2 and 4 look humanoid means they're the smartest. Or 1 and 8 are the most feral cause they look like animals. 8 could be the smartest ones. And 3,6, and 7 could be great political figures or monks. Ya know? Don't judge a book by it's cover.
