XVIII. the Moon
The idea of the tarot deck's major arcana representing character archetypes kind of breaks down after you get about halfway through. Case in point, rank 18. As the moon is but a pale reflection of the sun, with moonlight just being the light of the sun reflected off its portal-holding rocky surface, the Moon card represents shadow and mystery. It also pertains to the subconscious and the darkness of the soul, and not everyone is comfortable with being confronted with their own nastier habits.
Element: Water.
Upright: the unconscious, intuition, dreams, wisdom, maturity.
Reversed: denial, repressed emotions, illusion, hysteria, fear.

Character: Maria
original design:  ice-Adoptable
A water drake (wingless dragon) that lives in the ocean. Knows many of its secrets. Almost exclusively wears swimsuits on her own time. Not much else is known about her, but carries herself as if she is divine.
Silver Linings universe: A Vargo, and member of the "Slaver Circuit Triad" that travels aboard the "Stardust Rider" with Rob and Laplace, under the codename "Waterframe." Her Maxsmart microtablet, Arigato, allows her to transform into the light blue stag beetle-themed Kappa. Handles all professional interaction with the market and the company that liquifies their targets' assets, and it is very stressful.
