On my birthday, I thought I'd have some fun and a make myself an orca-sona.
I am from Victoria, BC, Canada, where the legendary J pod roams. I have seen them.
I decided to make myself an orca coloured like Chimo, who was a partially albino orca captured in the wild and kept in the abysmal Victoria Sealand aquarium. Although I live in the UK and very far from home, I often imagine my spirit is there, swimming with them. I wanted my orca to be greyish and almost ethereal in colour to fit with the idea that she is a spirit form of some kind. She's my manifestation of longing for home.
I could not find a "J24" listed on the number files for living or dead orcas, so I thought I would adopt the designation.
