Okay, so at Anthrocon 2019, Kealian pulled me aside and asked for assistance doing some quick photography sessions with Endorphine. This is one of the resultant photographs, the rest (at full resolution) can be found...

I realize I don't post often on FA anymore. Flickr is my primary means of hosting photographs, and Twitter is my primary means of advertising and dispersing them. So while I don't post here for months on end, it's because I generally use Flickr for that now.
That said, I don't want people to think I've dropped off the face of the Earth either. Plenty of people still use this site, and a little cross-posting can't hurt.
A little background to this photo - I roomed with Endorphine and Kealian at FWA. During that, I of course helped them out with several photoshoots. It's just a thing we do now. So at AC early Thursday morning, I ran into Kealian and Endorphine, with Endorphine in suit and Kealian doing cameraman work. He asked if I'd like to come along for some photo shoots, and I obliged.
A lot of the photos here were rather difficult to take due to the direct sunlight and the radically different light levels between the direct sunlight and the shadows. Oddly, I found that my cell phone camera seemed to handle it magnitudes better than my DSLR, for whatever reason. Operator error perhaps? Either way, some of the photos up on Flickr from that photo shoot (and more to come) are actually from my cell.
Of the ones I have done so far, this one was my favorite. The light balancing, white balancing, and framing were everything I could hope for. The editing brought the eyes out pretty well too (that shading problem I mentioned earlier). It's still a struggle, and getting the *exact* white balance seems to be almost a fool's errand most of the time, but this one came out perfectly.
So here's some Endorphine dog to let you know I'm still around and where you can find the majority of my work. I stopped cross-posting the majority of my work years ago because I didn't want to spam the people who follow me here, but maybe I should post just a bit more often perhaps?
