I drew this on the way to work. I used my Tablet PC like I did on most of my pics pondering if the iPad would be able to provide service as useful as my current device.

Hell I don't even know if the iPad has pressure sensitivity yet so I may not be able to retire this old Tablet of mine yet.

Pretty sure the iPad is somewhat worthless when it comes to doing cool shit at the moment. I thought Steve was trolling but figured April 1st is a bit far away.

But alas nice work. :D

Right now it really is. I so expected Wacom digitziers, USB ports and OSX on it. Right now it needs a serious redesign for Generation 2 for me to consider it.

They'll improve it later. They're starting out with a basic model so everyone buys it and then have to buy it again when a newer model with more features comes out in about 6 months.

Yeah, thats expected. Wacom Digitizers needs to be a priority on the things they add to get my attention. Since tablets make incredible portable studios and they are really fucking up not incorporating that.

Especially since for all I know Macs are supposedly superior for art and video-making. ;)

I know! This is a fail-ample of Macs superiority in art. I really hope they mod it since the idea is genius and there are a lot of things that I really do like about the iPad. But they missed things I needed to make me wanna use it for a replacement tablet pc.
