Yes, this is the farthest I got. My feet were starting to complain a bit, and I wasn't certain that I could get all the way to the fort under the Golden Gate (another three miles away) and back in time to get aboard the Harbor Prince for the tour.

That's the Palace of Fine Arts, part of the great Exposition set up after the devastating 1906 earthquake to show that the city was still there and would be coming back better.

From here, I retraced my steps east, and made it on time.
