Lunch!
With BEER!
I had lunch that Friday at the San Francisco Brewing Company's restaurant in Ghirardelli Square. Because it was 9/27, they had their Oktoberfest menu out, so I dined on Huhnschnitzel mit Rotkohl - that is, fried chicken cutlet with red cabbage. The beer and cheese sauce on the dish was delicious.
I decided to sample their wares, so I ordered a flight of four 5-ounce glasses. In order:
Märzen
Hefeweisen
"Kable Kar" Kölsch
The brewery's IPA.
You can match the names above to the letters on the slate, and by the levels you can easily determine which beers I liked the best. Also note the napkin on the table, which for me is an indication that I am done with my dining experience, and desire the check.
