I want there to be a game starring this hardcore version of Mario. I think a Bioshock mod would do it perhaps, with the pipe wrench as your main weapon (hey, he's a plumber!) and fire flowers give access to the incinerate ability until you take damage. That and a game chronicling Bowser's rise to power as King Koopa.

This totally reminded me of Mr. Alex Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist, and I see that I'm not the first to have that impression. :x
The outfit change is pretty cool here, though I can't imagine it with the feather or raccoon suit. :B

This looks amazing.
I am a huge mario fan, have been one for years and I just love what the fan base does to this guy.
Mario is awesome as is from what Shigeru Miyamoto has given us but when the fans do stuff its just amazing.
I love what you did here how he is slowly changing the colors of his attire.
It looks like he is burning away the old to make it for the new.
It's an outstanding piece of work that just looks miraculous in its design.
I hope you do more like this, I mean Mario transformations.
Maybe even some Wario ones.
I have always felt that Wario had the superior gaming experience in contrast to Mario.
Mostly cause with Wario's games you sort of have to solve the puzzles of it in order to understand how to use your ailments to your advantage.
Again good work, there really should be a Nintendo art book that caters to fan art of the entire Nintendo universe, I would love to contribute to it and this would be a wonderful contribution to it as well.
