Back with this cutie little vampire and as for what that event is, you'll have to read the chapter to find out what.

It then became October. While the weather was getting colder, inside of Samantha a fire of excitement had begun. This was due to an event that was happening November. And that was a dancing competition that happened once a year. The petite vampire liked dancing a lot and one of her perks was being a pro one. Samantha was able to excel in almost every style of dance. But the reason she did this was more to have fun. It wasn’t to win at all. The female vampire competed in this with her team of three others while her friends Lorieth and Cazzandra would watch. But now since meeting Nicholas, the female vampire wondered if he might want to come and see her during this. She didn’t see the male as much this month as the last one due to him being busy. The guy wouldn’t say for what though. However, they did meet up at points and it was during one of these that Samantha brought the competition up to him. “Really? A dance one?” he asked when the female vampire told him.
“Yeah, it’s one I do every year,” she explained and brought an image for the flyer for the one happening on her phone. The title for it was called Central Dance Hub Bash. “It’s a lot of fun to go to and even more to compete in.”
“Oh? Will you be doing so with the latter?”
“Well I can say I’ll certainly be there,” Samantha answered. She didn’t want to reveal she was to Nicholas in order to surprise him. “But I was wondering if you’d like to come with me to it?”
“I’m actually going there myself,” the male answered with a grin. “Had I known you were I would’ve asked you to come with me and my friends in our ride.”
“That is sweet of you but I already have a ride.”
“Nuts. Well at least we both know we’ll see the other there. Maybe there will be something else instead we could go to together.”
“You know, that actually sounds like it could be fun,” Samantha replied and found herself really liking the idea.
“Well in the meantime I must take off myself.”
“Oh? You can’t stick around a bit longer?”
“Sorry Samantha but there’s an appointment I have to keep. But I’ll be seeing you soon.”
“Okay then.” She waved goodbye with a smile and the two vampires went their separate ways. It was okay as the female had to meet up with those that were competing with her. The team of four were ready for this and figured that it would be another win as they did most of the time. But they never saw it as a place to win, just to have fun and show off what they could do. However, Nicholas and Samantha would get quiet the surprise when the competition finally happened next month.

It's true this chapter is short but that's probably because the next one will be longer because of what will happen next month.
