Good to see you for like 0.5 seconds at FC :D What was the name of that coblers sole matterial again? Crete? You had mentioned at MFF. :)

Sadly, I was not at FC. Crepe is the material used, and specifically the type used was a diamond patterned vulcrepe. I may have the iron measurement somewhere. I used the ribbed patterned crepe for sandals which is slightly thicker.

Crepe is used on normal shoes, which are great for using on parade feet. I use a waterproof contact cement to attach both halves. Coat each side until it is tacky, then attach them together.

When you do, make sure to align them correctly on the first try. Separating them gets interesting, as they will not want to let go.

That would explain why you weren't there when I wandered over to say hi. :D Dealers den was...cramped, to say the least :D I'll give the Crepe a try. Have had good luck using thin diaphragm rubber glued on for feet bottoms. Tough, not too heavy.
