Yay, Saturday!
Bright, clear, cool and breezy. I wore my long pants from the previous night, a t-shirt and a sweater for my day trip to Napa Valley before stepping out to find breakfast. I was getting picked up in front of the Ferry Building just after 8 AM by - get this - Platypus Tours.
The only places open at the Ferry at the time were a Peet's Coffee shop and a Starbucks. Well, fuck Starbucks; they over-roast the coffee and it tastes like shit to me. Peet's actually wasn't too bad, so I had a mocha and a toasted ham and cheese sandwich.
The sandwich was tasty.
I got picked up on time, and we headed for the Bay Bridge headed toward Oakland, then north through Berkley to Napa. After the tour, we'd be dropped off at the Vallejo ferry slip for a trip back to the city.
