This is our first stop, Nicholson Ranch. They're a small vintner, not usually seen outside California, if I recall.
A lot of these places earn extra income by hosting tours and tastings, so I was expecting a hard sell at each of the four stops. I was not wrong, so shields were up at full power.
The guide first had us tasting two whites, a Cabernet and a Chardonnay. Of the two, the Chardonnay was what I'd have with breakfast - it'd make a ham and cheese omelet go down sweet.
