Arisi is a Shadowchild, born from darkness Shadowchildren have powerful dark magic, are immune to all hexes and curses, have the ability to remove them from others and are very clever and can be manipulative when they want something. Unfortunately when not properly raised Shadowchildren grow into cruel sadistic creatures that care little for others, Arisi however is being well raised by Katrina. She has learned how to use her magic to help people despite its inherently malicious nature. She's still unsure of where she came from beyond that she was born from darkness through the black crystal her mother wears on the collar around her neck. Katrina told Arisi she found the collar with the crystal in an old run down village. She brought it home and was told by Masque what it was and that the child that would be created should she choose to wear it must be carefully raised and mustn't be allowed to wear the collar until it was mature. Katrina had understood and worn the collar. Arisi was born like all Shadowchildren in a black flame her body was that of a 4-year-old she could walk and played like a 4-year-old would but her mind was fresh like a newborn and she had to learn to speak as any other child would, her aging didn't begin until her fourth birthday either, it's unclear why Shadowchildren grow this way or even why they exist, nevertheless Katrina did her best to be a good mother loving and caring for her new Daughter and so far Arisi is a kind and friendly girl with little to no dark or evil tendencies save for her minor glee when it comes to fighting anything that threatens her home.
