Maria-Jaye Alaura is a Demi-god, Daughter of the High-Goddess of love and happiness Alorana. She has inherited some measure of her mother's powers, she has the ability to sense people's wants and desires and can even make people fall in love just by looking into their eyes, however her mother has taught her not to do that unless she has to. Her necklace at first glance would appear to be a simple Alorian (her mother's religion) amulet, similar to a crucifix for Christianity, but hers is slightly different and when the star is pulled down it becomes a key which allows Maria-Jaye to open Alorian Shrines and visit her mother.
